Quality GuidelinesThe industry standard for evaluating cabinet workmanship is based on the Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada (AWMAC) and the Woodwork Institute (WI) in the United States. Cabinets are inspected under the following conditions:
- Timing: After installation is complete and the area is clean.
- Position: Standing in a normal viewing position.
- Distance: 48 inches from the cabinets.
- Lighting: Using the permanent room lighting, not spotlights or flashlights.
- View: Judging the overall appearance, without magnification or unusual viewing angles.
If a flaw is visible under these normal viewing conditions, it is considered a defect. In that case, we will repair, replace, or adjust the affected component.
